ROARING SPRING RIPPLES.

  John Treese, a son of George Treese, died on the 4th of December, 
after a lingering illness, aged 18 years, 9 months and 7 days.  He was 
a member of the Methodist Episcopal church.  He was buried in the 
cemetery here.  Rev. Franklin M. Welsh, his pastor, preached the 
funeral sermon.
