MRS. MARY FRANCES TREESE

Widow of J. Heck Treese, died at 6.30 o'clock this morning at the 
family home, 715 Hickory street, Hollidaysburg. She had been ill for 
some time. She was born in Scotch valley on Dec. 8, 1856, a daughter of 
David and Rachael Waite, and was the last member of her immediate 
family. She was married on Nov. 18, 1873, to Mr. Treese, the husband 
dying twelve years ago. Three sons and three daughters were born to the 
union, two children surviving, Alberta M. and Lucy A. Treese, both at 
home. She was a member of the Methodist church since young womanhood. 
The funeral will be held from the residence on Thursday afternoon at 
2.30 o'clock. Interment will follow in the Presbyterian cemetery, 
Hollidaysburg.
