TRIMER Died at his home, 2310 Beale avenue, at 9:30 o'clock last night. He was born in Huntingdon, April 21, 1873, a son of Joseph and Margaret (McConnell) Trimer. He was employed in the P.R.R. boiler shop until his retirement on June 1 of this year. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Pearl (Bigelow) Trimer; one son, Charles, one daughter, Dorothy of the city; two step-daughters, Mrs. Annie Glunt of Altoona and Mrs. Gladys Rehrer of Lewistown; a step-son, Earl Stauble of Washington, D.C.; one granddaughter, Laura Gable, at the home; fourteen grandchildren; one great-grandchild, and the following brothers: Edward, Charles, Regis and Fred of Huntingdon; a step-sister, Mary Homan, and the following sisters: Mrs. Anna Snyder of Tyrone, and Mrs. John McFarland. Mr. Trimer was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Friends will be received at the home after 7 o'clock this evening. Altoona Mirror, December 13, 1944
