TROUT Aged 89, for many years a resident of Altoona, died yesterday morning at the home of a daughter, Mrs. C. B. Seem, at Zionsville. He was born near Bellwood on March 13, 1847, a son of Joseph T.* and Sarah Trout and moved from Altoona to Zionsville four years ago. Mr. Trout entered the service of the Pennsylvania Railroad company on March 1, 1861, retiring in 1913 with a service record of fifty-two years. His wife died in 1932 and he is survived by three daughters and one son, Mrs. G. A. Hawn of Buffalo, N.Y., Mrs. T. B. Kerlin of the city, Mrs. Seem of Zionsville and W. L. Trout of St. Paul, Minn., fourteen grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. Mr. Trout was a member of Calvary Baptist church and Knights of Pythias. The body will be brought to Altoona and may be viewed at the home of a granddaughter, Mrs. H. L. Rhoads, 810 Walton avenue. The funeral will be held from the granddaughter's home tomorrow afternoon at 2.30 o'clock. Interment will be made in Oak Ridge cemetery. Altoona Mirror, Wednesday, July 29, 1936 *should be P. not T.
