Troutwine, of 977 Pennsylvania avenue, died Wednesday, June 24, 1987, at 3:15 a.m. at Centre Community Hospital, State College, following an extended illness. He was born June 9, 1905, at Tyrone, the son of William F. Sr., and Mary Naylor Troutwine. On January 9, 1954, at Washington D.C., he was married to Josephine Perdue. She died August 22, 1978. He is survived by two brothers, George W. Troutwine and Jack S. Troutwine, both of Tyrone. He was a veteran of World War II with service in the United States Army Air Force and was a member of Howard Gardner Post 281 American Legion. He retired on disability in 1963 as a painter for various contractors in the Washington D.C. area. Private funeral services and interment at Pine View Cemetery, Orgas, Boone County, W.Va. were held at the convenience of the family.
