(Peggy) Turiano, age 81, of 4989 Dungarvin Road, Warriors Mark, died June 26, 2004 at Tyrone Hospital, following a lengthy illness. She was born June 5, 1923 in Bellwood to Hilda (Baney) Burd and George S. Burd. She was married December 11, 1943 at St. Matthew's Church, Tyrone, to the late James A. Turiano. Surviving are three sons: James A. III of Tipton; Charles J. of Huntingdon and George L. and wife Patti of Warriors Mark. Three grandchildren: Michael John Turiano of Altoona, Autumn Lee Showalter of Water Street and Valerie Lynn Turiano of Warriors Mark. Three great- grandchildren: Michael John Jr. of Altoona, Jena Hampton and Elliot Showalter of Water Street. One sister: Geneviere R. Williams of Tyrone. She was preceded in death by one sister and one brother. She attended St. Matthew's Church, Tyrone. She had been an employee of the Big Yank Corp. of Tyrone for 20 years. The funeral service will be held June 29, 2004 at 11 a.m. at the Bruce E. Cox Funeral Home, Warriors Mark. The officiant will be Rev. Warren MacEachern. The place of burial will be at Blair Memorial Park, Bellwood. Friends will be received today from 7-9 and on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of services at 11 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Warriors Mark-Franklin Vol. Fire Co., P.O.
