JOHN ADAM TURNBAUGH

A retired farmer, died at 7.55 o'clock this morning at the home of his 
daughter, Mrs. Ernest Brubaker of Duncansville, R.D. 1, following an 
extended illness. He was born at Duncansville, R.D. 1, May 13, 1872, a 
son of John and Catherine (Wyerman) Turnbaugh, and married Miss 
Florence Yingling, who died in 1949. Mr. Turnbaugh was a member of the 
Duncansville Lutheran church. Surviving are the following children: 
Mrs. Brubaker and Miss Christina Turnbaugh of Duncansville, R.D. 1 and 
Charles of Hamburg, N.Y.; three brothers, Charles of North Dakota and 
James and Frank of Altoona; four grandchildren and two great-
grandchildren.

TURNBAUGH - Funeral services for John Adam Turnbaugh of Duncansville, 
R.D. 1, will be held at 2.30 p.m. Sunday at the Duncansville Lutheran 
church in charge of Rev. G.B. Harman. Interment in Carson Valley 
cemetery. Friends are being received at the Liebegott funeral home, 
Duncansville, from 7 p.m. Friday until 11 a.m. Sunday, thereafter at 
the church.
