Blair on Washington Avenue Monday morning at 1.15 o'clock Mrs. Catharine Blair Turns died at the home of her brother, S. S. Blair on West Washington avenue. Mrs. Turns, who had made her home with her brother for a number of years, had been a patient sufferer the past two months with septicemia. She was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Blair and was born in Dauphin county about seventy-six years ago. Early in life she united with the Presbyterian church and passed away rejoicing in that faith. She is survived by one brother, S. S. Blair, of Tyrone. Funeral services were held at the Blair home on Tuesday evening at 7.30 o'clock, conducted by Rev. H. W. Bieber, pastor of the Presbyterian church. The body was taken to Harrisburg Wednesday morning for interment. Tyrone Herald, Tyrone, Pa., January 14, 1915
