Mr. Tussey was born Feb. 4, 1872, in West Loop, at the Tussey family homestead, which has been his residence most of his life. He was the son of Samuel C. and Anna (Hileman) Tussey and was married to Mary Porter, June 1, 1904. Surviving are his wife, four children, Ralph, at home, Helen of Loganton, Mrs. Halfred Wertz of Titusville and Samuel of Hollidaysburg; four grandchildren, one brother, Jay C. Tussey of Hollidaysburg, and the following sisters: Mrs. Sue Roberts of New York city, Mrs. Boyd Robb of Altoona, Mrs. Dora Moore of Hollidaysburg, and Mrs. Claire O'Rouck of Dundalk, Md. He was a member of Zion Lutheran church, Hollidaysburg, and the Men's Brotherhood Bible class, the Scotch Valley grange, and the farm executive board of Blair county.
