Melcher Uhl.

  Edward Uhl, of West Tenth street, received a telegram Saturday 
morning apprising him of the death of his aged father, Melcher Uhl, who 
passed away at his home in Pittsburg in his 87th year.  He was born at 
New York, where he spent practically all his life and for a number of 
years was a most successful shoe merchant.  He leaves his wife, two 
sons, Edward of Tyrone, William of Gary, Ind., and a daughter, Emma, of 
Pittsburg.
