Killed at Bennington.

  The body of an unknown man was brought to this city on an engine, 
about 9 this morning, and taken to the undertaking rooms of J. Arthur, 
on Twelfth street.  The unfortunate man had been struck and run over by 
an engine while walking on the track near Bennington.  His head was 
crushed into an unrecognizable mass and there was nothing found on his 
person by which he might be identified.  He seemed to be a laboring man 
and about 40 years of age.
