GERTRUDE VALENTINE Of 2021 Eleventh avenue, died in Mercy hospital at 8 o'clock this morning. She was born in Altoona Sept. 28, 1877, the daughter of Richard P. and Elizabeth (Trotter) Sharp and was married to R. C. Valentine Nov. 18, 1903. Surviving are her husband, Mrs. Barbara Irvin of Altoona, George W., of Pittsburgh, and Miss Betty, at home; two grandchildren; these brothers and sisters: Robert J., of Washington, D.C.; Raymond P. of Harrisburg, Mrs. James V. Ferry and Mrs. Zac Endress of Altoona. A member of the St. Leo's Catholic parish and of the Altar and Rosary society, she had been organist at St. Leo's church for twenty-seven years. Friends will be received at the late home after 3 o'clock tomorrow afternoon. VALENTINE - The funeral of Mrs. Gertrude (Sharp) Valentine of 2021 Eleventh avenue will be held Monday morning with requiem high mass at 9 o'clock at St. Leo's church. Interment in Calvary cemetery.
