DIED.

VALLADE. - In this city, on the 12th inst., of scarlet fever, Raphael 
Augustus, second son of J. G. and Lizzie M. Vallade, aged 4 years and 2 
days.
    Your little babe has gone to rest - 
      To his home above;
    He is now among the blessed =
      Your cherished little dove.

    Mourn him not, for he is happy
      In his lovely home,
    With the angels for companions,
      Where sin and sorrow cannot come.

    When God will call you home,
      Your little pet you'll meet;
    You will not regret his early death,
      The union will be so sweet.
    
    Then dry your tears, cease your care -
      Your little son's above;
    He is one of the beautiful angels fair,
      With our God of love.

  Thou wert called, "Buddy," too.  Yes, a bud too fair to ripen on this 
earth; fit only to be transplanted to the celestial garden, to bloom in 
never ending bliss where "Budd" will never have to pray for those he 
left behind to mourn his loss.    L. C.
