VANDEVANDER Who resided in Bellwood for many years, died suddenly yesterday afternoon at 5 o'clock at Punxsutawney, where he went only recently. He was employed by the Pennsylvania Railroad company as a conductor on the Cresson branch. Mr. Vandevander was born in Altoona sixty-four years ago, a son of Robert and Jane Bartlebaugh Vandevander. His wife, Katherine died on Nov. 9, 1928. Surviving are one son, Walter of Altoona; one daughter, Mrs. Annie Johnston of Tyrone; one brother, Horace of Bellwood, and four sisters, Mrs. W. O. Stewart and Mrs. G. C. Moffitt of Altoona, Mrs. Harry Haight of Philadelphia and Miss Laura Vandevander of Harrisburg. The deceased was a member of the Bellwood Methodist church and B. of R. T. in this city. He was a well respected and highly esteemed resident of Bellwood for many years. Funeral services will be conducted in the Fuoss & Glass Funeral Home in Bellwood on Friday afternoon at 2 O'clock in charge of Rev. J. F. Anderson of Bellwood.
