MRS. ANNA MARY VANDREW

Of 316 Howard avenue, died at 10 o'clock yesterday morning at the Altoona 
hospital after an extended illness.  She was born in Sharpsburg April 9, 
1879, the daughter of George M. and Elizabeth (Shoenfelt) Nicodemus.  Her 
husband, David A. Vandrew, died April 29, 1951.  Surviving are two 
daughters, Mrs. Charles Gilliland of Johnstown and Mrs. Dora Lane of 
Altoona; six sons, William, George, Daniel C., Thomas H., A. Paul and John 
L., all of Altoona; three sisters, Mrs. Margaret Reese of Altoona, Mrs. 
Elsie Mower of Palmyra and Mrs. John Clark of Philadelphia; 21 grandchildren 
and 29 great-grandchildren.  Mrs. Vandrew was a charter member of the Fourth 
Street Church of God and a charter member of the Victory Sunday school 
class.  Friends will be received at the Axe funeral home after 7 o'clock 
this evening.
