Vandrew, 92, Shamrock Trailer Court, Duncansville, died early Wednesday morning, May 13, 1998, at her home. She was born Sept. 8, 1905, in Altoona, the daughter of the late Lewis L. and Martha Jane (Leighty) Shaw. She married Thomas H. Vandrew Nov. 24, 1925, in Cumberland, Md. He died April 27, 1981. Mrs. Vandrew was a member of the Dry Run Gospel Tabernacle, Duncansville RD, where she taught the Nora Mae Sunday School class for more than 50 years. Surviving are four daughters: Shirley Snyder, Lois Noal and Donna Edmundson, all of Duncansville, and Mary Jane Shoop of East Loop, Hollidaysburg RD; 16 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson. A daughter, Leona Ruth Burk, died April 15, 1995. Friends will be received from 2 to 9 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Dry Run Gospel Tabernacle. Arrangements by Sorge Funeral Home, Hollidaysburg. VANDREW - The funeral of Nora M. Vandrew will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Dry Run Gospel Tabernacle by Pastor John D. Leatherman. Interment at Dry Run Cemetery. Friends will be received from 2 to 9 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m. until the time of services Saturday at the church. Arrangements by Sorge Funeral Home.
