All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/blair/ ________________________________________________ WILLIAM FRANKLIN VASBINDER JR. 60, of 311 15th Ave., Juniata, died at 2:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 5, 1980, in Deborah Heart and Lung Foundation Hospital, Brownsmills, N.J., following an extended illness. Mr. Vasbinder retired as a driver from the Lafferty Trucking Co. in 1970 after 27 years' service. He was born Sept. 10, 1919, in Curwensville, the son of William and Bertha (Thomas) Vasbinder, and April 4, 1939, in Tyrone, married Eleanor Purdue. Surviving are his wife, four children, David W., Mrs. Bertha Creamer, Robert B. and A. James of Altoona; 12 grandchildren, his parents of Fallentimber and a sister, Mrs. Dorothy Kadash of Osceola Mills. Mr. Vasbinder was a member of the First Lutheran Church, Men's Bible class and Men's Choir, the Deborah Heart and Lung Association and Teamsters Union. Friends will he received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the Warren H. Replogle Funeral Home and from noon to 1 p.m. Friday in the First Lutheran Church. VASBINDER - Services for William F. Vasbinder Jr. of 314 15th Ave., Juniata, will be held at 1 p.m. Friday in the First Lutheran Church, by the Rev. Glenn L. Stahl. Interment in Blair Memorial Park, Bellwood. Friends will he received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the Warren H. Replogle Funeral Home and from noon until time of services in the church. Altoona Mirror, April 6, 1980
