Vaughn of Duncansville, died at 7:10 last evening, after an illness of ten weeks, of nervous prostration and lung trouble. Mrs. Vaughn was born in Philadelphia in 1848, married in 1867 by Rev. Father Bradley of Newry, and since 1878 had lived in Duncansville. She was a lady of culture and refinement and will be greatly missed by the people of Duncansville and vicinity. She was a faithful member of St. Patrick's Catholic church of Newry. She was the mother of eleven children, eight of whom are living: Albert J., Estella E., wife of James F. Owens of this city, Joseph L., Leo R., Clara B., Ray A., Mae and Grace E. Besides her husband she is survived by three brothers and two sisters: Wm. D. Robinson of Roanoke, Va., James A. Robinson of Seattle, Wash., Joseph Robinson of Altoona, Mrs. R. U. Bowers and Mrs. J. B. Vaughn of Pittsburg. The remains will be brought at 8 o'clock Saturday morning to the Sacred Heart Catholic church in this city, where mass will be celebrated, after which interment will be made in St. John's cemetery.
