All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/blair/ _______________________________________________ VAUGHN Mrs. Teresa Vaughn, wife of Arthur Vaughn of 2008 Eighth avenue, died at her home yesterday morning at 3 o'clock from a complication of diseases growing out of a fall, it is said, from a street car on Dec. 3, at which time she sustained a broken hip and other injuries. The accident which resulted in her death occurred on Tuesday afternoon two weeks ago at Seventh avenue and Nineteenth street when she was alighting from a Second avenue car. She missed her footing and fell to the pavement and has been in a serious condition since that time at her home. Mrs. Teresa Vaughn was born in this city 48 years ago, being the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Conrad Knepley, both deceased. She is survived by her husband and the following step-children: Mrs. David McCord, Edward E., Arthur C., and Roy G. Vaughn of this city and one brother, William Knepley and two sisters, Mrs. Rebecca Vaughn and Mrs. Frank McDonough, all of this city. Altoona Times, Altoona, Pa., Tuesday Morning, December 17, 1918
