Mrs. Vetter was born in Frauanfeld, Canton of Thurgan, Switzerland, on Jan. 16, 1856, and came to this country with her parents at the age of 15 years, locating in New York. She came to Altoona twenty- two years ago, where she has continually resided. One brother and an infant daughter preceded her to the grave. She is survived by her husband, Paul Vetter, her mother, Mrs. Maria Oehminger and two sons, Rudolph and Emil Vetter, and 4 grand- children. She was a noble woman, a faithful wife, an indulgent mother and devoted friend, and her heath will be universally mourned by her relatives and friends. She bore her affliction with Christian fortitude and died in the hope of a happy reunion in heaven. Mrs. Vetter was an assiduous helpmate and led her blind husband in his vocation as piano tuner and conducting their piano store.
