Main St., Waterbury, Conn., formerly of Altoona, died at 10:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 27, 1980, in St. Mary's Hospital, Waterbury. Mrs. Villane was a licensed practical nurse. She was born July 20, 1911, in Altoona, the daughter of Walter G. and Bertha M. (Reed) Wissinger, and was twice married, first to Chester A. Merritts, and then to William Villane. Surviving are three stepchildren, William, Jack and Evelyn Villane in Connecticut; several grandchildren and seven brothers and sisters, Walter J., Donn E., Mrs. Helen M. Luckner and Mrs. Shirley A. Ulrich of San Diego, Calif.; Marlyn E. of Phoenix, Ariz., and Herbert A. and Mrs. Audrey G. Burchfield of Altoona. Mrs. Villane had attended the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Waterbury.
