Vissel died yesterday morning at his home at 3:15 in Roaring Spring, following a stroke of paralysis which he suffered on last Wednesday night after retiring for the night. Julius Trestler Vissel was born in Dublin, Bucks county, on March 2, 1865, and graduated from the Philadelphia college in 1889. He located at Baker's Summit, where he remained a year, then opening an office at Woodbury, where he was located for thirteen years. In 1903 he removed to Perkasie and took a post graduate course at the Philadelphia college. He came to Roaring Spring in 1911. Dr. Vissel was married on Oct. 2, 1890, to Miss Mary Elizabeth Weidmyer of Piperville, Bucks county, and is survived by his widow and one daughter, Mrs. Martha Loose, and one grandson, Donald Vissel Loose. Also one brother, William of Camden, N.J. Altoona Times, Altoona, Pa., Tuesday Morning, December 24, 1918 FUNERAL NOTICE. The funeral services of Dr. J. T. Vissel will be conducted in St. Luke's Lutheran church, Roaring Spring, Rev. A. F. Berkey, pastor, in charge, on Thursday morning at 10 o'clock. Interment will be made in the Greenlawn cemetery.
