Wagner, widow of Joseph Wagner, died at her home near Clappertown at 11.18 o'clock on Sunday night. She was born at Williamsburg, Dec. 29, 1850, the daughter of David and Sarah Hamilton. February 10, 1870, she was united in marriage to Joseph Wagner. To this union fourteen children were born, those surviving being E. J. Wagner, of Hollidaysburg; I. S., Mrs. J. O. Books, George P., and Chester, all of Altoona; Mrs. A. J. Hickes, of Tyrone; David H., of Coalmont; Mrs. R. P. Hartman of Royer and Mrs. Sarah Rhodes, Mrs. T. P. Wilson and Chas., of Clappertown; H. O., of Altoona, deceased, also Myrtle and Homer. Twenty-two grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters also survive: H. M. Hamilton of Altoona, Howard of Everson, Pa.; Smith Hamilton of Akron, Ohio, and Mrs. Lydia Sechrist of Pittsburgh. The funeral was conducted Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, with services in the Clappertown Lutheran church in charge of Rev. J. M. Rearick and Rev. James Doherty.
