Waite, wife of George C. Waite, died at the home on West Washington avenue, above Fifth street, Saturday morning at 6 o'clock, after an illness of nearly four years of consumption. The deceased was a daughter of the late Thomas Hyskell and Mary Hyskell, and was born near Warriorsmark, October 10, 1859, and at death was aged 39 years, 11 months and 27 days. On the 28th of February, 1889, she was united in marriage to George C. Waite, and they have resided in Tyrone since in the spring of 1890. She is survived by her husband and two children, viz.: Myra E. and Eugene H., aged respectively 7 and 4 years. She is also survived by her mother, Mrs. Mary Hyskell, of Warriorsmark, and the following brothers and sisters: Alan U. Hyskell, of Pittsburg; Dr. W. D. Hyskell, of Madera, Pa.; Mrs. George G. Hutchinson and Mrs. Mary Cunningham, of Warriorsmark. Deceased was a member of the First Methodist Episcopal church, and when in health a devoted and active worker in the church and its auxiliary branches. Funeral services will be held at her late home on West Washington avenue this morning at 9.30 o'clock, to be conducted by Rev. W. M. Frysinger, D.D., after which the remains will be conveyed overland to Warriorsmark cemetery for interment. Morning Tribune, Monday, October 9, 1899
