MRS. MARY N. WAITE  
 
  Mrs. Mary Nevling Waite died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ross 
Crawford, in Sinking Valley, on Tuesday morning at 6:30 o'clock 
following an illness of several weeks.  
  Mrs. Waite was born at Birmingham on December 10, 1846, the daughter 
of John and Mary Adams Nevling, Two brothers, W. H. H. Nevling, of 
Boston, Massachusetts, and John A. Nevling, of Tyrone, one sister, 
Sara, who died in infancy, and several half-brothers and half sisters 
preceded her to the grave.  
  On October 7, 1875, she was united in  marriage with John Milton 
Waite, of Eden Valley.  They resided in Eden Valley for about 25 years.  
The following children survive: Mrs. Edith Isett, of Llanerch; H. N. 
Waite, of Chicago; Mrs. Alma Crawford, of Sinking Valley, and Mrs. 
Marie Mingle, of Tyrone.  
  Funeral services will be held on Thursday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock 
in the Presbyterian church at Birmingham, in charge of Rev. Horace E. 
Hoover, assisted by Rev. Eugene McCahan.
