He was born in Wales March 1, 1883. Surviving are his widow and three children. Mr. Wales was a brother of Joseph Wales of Johnstown. LEWIS WALES Retired storehouse clerk for the Pennsylvania Railroad company, died suddenly at his residence, 1403 Jefferson avenue, at 7.45 o'clock last night. He was born in Aberdare, Wales, March 1, 1873, a son of Alfred and Ellen (Jones) Wales. Surviving are his wife, Eliza Jane (Parkes) Wales; one son, Lewis Edgar of Altoona; two daughters, Mrs. Celia Stitt of Cleveland, O., and Mrs. Hannah Hultgren of Altoona; four grandchildren, Joseph R. Wales, Jesse L. Wales, Arlene A. Wales and Bernice C. Stitt, and these brothers and sisters: Mrs. Rose May Hilderbrand, Mrs. Alice Davis, Alfred and Joseph Wales, all of Johnstown. Mr. Wales was of the Episcopal faith. Friends will be received at the N. A. Stevens mortuary after 7 o'clock tonight. WALES - Funeral services for Lewis Wales of 1403 Jefferson avenue will be held at 2.30 o'clock Thursday afternoon at the Stevens memorial chapel by Rev. J. R. Leatherbury. Interment in Rose Hill cemetery. Friends will be received at the N. A. Stevens mortuary, 1421 Eighth avenue, after 7 o'clock this evening.
