BETTYE M. WALK 

  Miss Bettye M. Walk, 72 of RD3 Box 211, Tyrone, Pa. died Sunday 
evening, June 24, 2007 at the Tyrone Hospital.
  She was born August 21, 1934 at Hannah, Pa. a daughter of Howard L. 
and Ida (McMonigal) Walk, Sr.
  She is survived by a sister Irene Reese Cree (Herb); brothers Warren 
Walk, Sr. (Ida); Austin Walk (Priscilla); Arthur B. Walk (Harriet); 
half brother Walter Fink (Sylvia) and longtime friend Russell Ball, all 
of Bald Eagle Area.
  Also several nieces and nephews.
  She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Howard L. Walk, 
Jr., Orlando Fink, Elwood Walk and sisters Helen Dillon and Thelma 
McClellan.
  She was a member of the Hannah United Methodist Church and a graduate 
of Tyrone High School in 1952.
  She enjoyed sewing, hunting, bingo and cheering for the Tyrone Golden 
Eagles.
  She retired from Big Yank Corp., Tyrone, after 42 years service.
  Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 27, 2007 at 11 a.m. at 
the Derman Funeral Home, Inc., Tyrone, with pastors Ben Grove and Mike 
Baney officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, RD 
Port Matilda, Pa.
  Friends will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2 to 4 
p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.
  Contributions in her memory may be made to the Home Nursing Agency 
Hospice Program, Altoona, Pa. or the Hannah United Methodist Church, 
Port Matilda, Pa.
