The man lived alone and had just called in James Merrets, aged 12, Paul Amick, aged 10, and Garry Amick, aged 8, to do some errands for him, when he suddenly slumped down over the cot in his room and died. The children informed neighbors who called police. Deputy Coroner Edgar C. Wells reported. He was born in Huntingdon county on June 27, 1876, the son of Calvin T. Walker and was married to Elizabeth Campbell at Menden, Neb. Surviving are his wife and these children: Mrs. T. C. Sickles of Philadelphia, J. F. Walker of Barbarton, O., H. C. Walker, Mrs. C. H. Boyles, E. S. Walker, Mrs. R. P. Long, all of this city, and C. W. Walker and Miss Catherine Lois Walker of the city, eleven grandchildren and two brothers, W. T. Walker of Huntingdon and J. B. Walker of Mount Union. Mr. Walker was a retired contractor and builder and was a member of the Third United Brethren church. Friends will be received at the Myers funeral home. WALKER - Funeral services for George E. Walker of 310 First street will be held at the Myers Funeral Home on Thursday at 2.30 o'clock in charge of Rev. J. J. Thompson.
