Mrs. Lizzie Wallace passed away at her home on North Pennsylvania avenue at 8.10 o'clock yesterday morning, death being due to typhoid pneumonia. Mrs. Wallace was attending to her household duties as usual on Saturday afternoon when she suddenly became ill and was forced to take to her bed where she slept peacefully away at the above stated hour. Mrs. Lizzie Wallace was born March 1, 1847 at Bald Eagle and was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Garland. About fifty years ago she was united in marriage with Edward A. Wallace who preceded her to the grave several years ago. Surviving to mourn the death of this loving mother are the following children: Charles, James City, Pa.; Harry, Trenton, N.J.; Mrs. Flora Epler, New York City; Miss Laura Wallace, Chicago, and Lloyd T., of Tyrone. She is also survived by one sister, Mrs. Ellen McMonigal, of Hannah, Pa., and one brother, Joseph Garland, of Tyrone. Deceased possessed a fine Christian spirit which was manifest at all times and her friendship was cherished by all with whom she came in contact. She was a devoted member and active worker of the First United Brethren church. Funeral arrangements will be announced in tomorrow's issue. The funeral of the late Mrs. Lizzie Wallace, whose death was announced in yesterday's issue, will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 o'clock in the United Brethren church, conducted by Rev. E. G. Sawyer. Interment will be made in Eastlawn cemetery. The remains may be viewed at the home on North Pennsylvania avenue Wednesday evening between 7 and 9 o'clock, or at the church on Thursday afternoon.
