Wallace, 1462 Pennsylvania Avenue, died Sunday night at 11:45 o'clock in the Altoona City Hospital. He was born at Powelton, Oct. 21, 1882, son of Edward and Laura Elizabeth Garland Wallace. On April 27, 1911, at Philipsburg, he married Myrtle Belle Kling. Surviving are the widow, a brother, Charles Wallace, Williamsport; two nieces, Mrs. Walter Goodwin, Trenton, N.J., and Mrs. Edith Brock, Creek Side. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. He began working at the Westvaco Paper Mill in 1897, and was retired July 1, 1950. He was employed in the frame shop, machine tender, as foreman and for a number of years on general work. Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the Glass funeral home, with the Rev. George P. Fulton, Juniata in charge. Burial will be in Eastlawn Cemetery. Friends will be received at the funeral home Tuesday afternoon from 2 to 4 o'clock and in the evening from 7 to 9 o'clock. Tyrone Daily Herald, Tyrone, Pa., January 15, 1951
