Wallace, who for some eight years past has been afflicted with a nervous affection, died at her home, 1257 North Pennsylvania avenue, at 3.30 o'clock yesterday morning. The deceased, whose maiden name was Martha Jane Walker, was born February 22, 1826, and at death was aged 73 years, 5 months and 4 days. She was married to Benjamin F. Wallace, December 28, 1843. Mr. Wallace died March 22, 1877. She is survived by four sons and two daughter, viz: Mrs. M. F. McLaughlin and Martin W. Wallace, of Nevada, O.; Henry C. and S. Blair Wallace, of Huntingdon; R. Frank Wallace, of near Morrell, and Mary M. Wallace, at home. Four brothers and two sisters also survive - Matthew, Andrew David and John Walker; Mrs. James McLaughlin and Mrs. John Hamler. Funeral services will be held at her late home Friday morning, to be conducted by her pastor, Rev. W. M. Frysinger, D.D., after which the remains will be conveyed to the Reformed church graveyard, near Arch Springs, for burial. Morning Tribune, Altoona, Pa., Thursday, July 27, 1899
