HOLLIDAYSBURG HAPPENINGS.

  Edward, son of Adam and Maggie Walls, died at his home at Canoe Creek 
yesterday morning of typhoid fever, aged 19 years.  His sister, Annie, 
is lying very low with the same dread disease.  The deceased was a 
member of the Methodist Episcopal church.  He is survived by his 
parents, one sister, Annie, and two brothers, Hayden and Frank.  The 
funeral services will be held in the United Brethren church at Canoe 
Creek this afternoon at 3 o'clock and will be conducted by the Rev. 
George Shiner, of Frankstown.  Interment in the cemetery at that place.
