Walls, of Gaysport, who was taken to the Nason Hospital at Roaring Spring, on Monday suffering with pneumonia that developed from Spanish influenza, died at the institution at 7 o'clock that evening, and her young son was taken with her, suffering with the same disease, is at this writing lying at the point of death. Three other children of the family are also ill with the disease. The deceased woman was born at Newry on January 7, 1887 and was a daughter of Jacob and Maftie B. Weir of Duncansville. She was a member of the Methodist church of Hollidaysburg and had many friends. Deceased is survived by her husband, James Walls, and two sons and four daughters. Private funeral services will be held at the rooms of Undertaker William A. Van Allman at Allegheny and Front streets at 4 o'clock this afternoon, and will be conducted by Rev. E. E. Harter of the Methodist church. Interment will be made in the Carson valley cemetery. Altoona Time, Altoona, Pa., Wednesday Morning, December 4, 1918
