Sarah Margaret Walls

  Sarah Margaret Walls, 90, a resident of Epworth Manor for the past 
three years, died Sunday, June 20, 1982 at 6 p.m. at Epworth Manor 
following a lengthy illness.  
  She was born Sept. 11, 1891, at Centre County, the daughter of John 
and Jennie E. Colabine Baird.  On Sept. 15, 1914, in Huntingdon County, 
she was married to John Burton Walls.  He died in 1954. 
  She is survived by two sons, John E. Walls and Elmer L. Walls, both 
of Tyrone, 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.  She was the 
last of her immediate family.  Two sons, one daughter and one brother 
preceded her in death.  
  She was a member of the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, 
Tyrone. 
  Funeral service will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Derman 
Funeral Home with the Rev. Doug Mottin officiating.  Interment will be 
at Meek's Cemetery, Centre County.  Friends will be received at the 
funeral home Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
