CLARENCE R. WALTER

Of 705 S. Juniata St., Hollidaysburg, died at 7:50 p.m. yesterday, 
Sept. 10, 1970, in Altoona VA Hospital, where he was admitted Monday, 
after an extended illness. He was born in Altoona Aug. 29, 1904, a son 
of Cora Bell Helsel. Surviving are a half-brother and two half-sisters, 
Merle Helsel, Mrs. Hilda Blazer and Mrs. Ruth Fultz of Hollidaysburg. 
Mr. Walter was a veteran of World War II, having served as a sergeant 
in ordnance, a member of the Hollidaysburg American Legion, the 40&8 
Society and Altoona Eagles. Friends will be received in the Plank 
Funeral Home, Hollidaysburg, after 7 p.m.
