All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/blair/ _______________________________________________ WALTERS Mrs. Belle Settle Walters, wife of Ira Walters, died at the family home at Canoe Creek yesterday morning, at 3 o'clock, death being caused by pneumonia, which followed an attack of influenza from which she suffered since last Friday. Mrs. Walters was aged 34 years and is survived by her husband and four children: Effie, Harry, Bobby and Phoebe. Two of the children are lying in a critical condition, suffering with the same malady. Mrs. Walters was a quiet, unassuming woman and was held in high esteem in the community where she lived. The funeral will be held this afternoon at the family home, and interment will be made in the United Brethren cemetery. Altoona Times, Altoona, Pa., Friday Morning, November 1, 1918
