WALTERS 87, formerly of 5715 California Ave., died at 9:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 24, 1979, in the Evergreen Knoll Home, Duncansville, after an extended illness. Mrs. Walters was a former teacher and principal at the Webster Elementary School, and later taught the Americanization course at Altoona Area High School. She was born Sept. 5, 1892, in Altoona, the daughter of Robert and Clara (Michaels) Hart, and Sept. 26, 1923, in Hagerstown, Md., married Daniel H. Walters, who died July 21, 1969. Surviving are a brother, Clarence M. of Altoona and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Walters was a member of the First Church of Christ and Class 11 Sunday School. She was valedictorian of her 1910 graduating class at Altoona High School and graduated from Juniata College, Huntingdon. Friends will be received in the Daniel R. Myers Funeral Home from 7 to 9 p.m. today. WALTERS - Services for Naomi V. Walters formerly of 5715 California Ave., of Evergreen Knoll Home, Duncansville, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Daniel R. Myers Funeral Home, by the Rev. James Lunkett. Interment in Rose Hill Cemetery. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. today in the funeral home.
