Wands, died at the home on East Tenth street at 10:20 o'clock yesterday morning after but a short illness from pneumonia, which followed a heavy cold with which she was attacked about ten days ago. Deceased was a daughter of John and Maria Millhouse (deceased) and was born at Danville, Pa., October 12, 1854. Twenty-two years of her life were spent at that place. In December, 1876, she was united in marriage with Harry M. Wands. They moved to Tyrone in 1887. Besides her husband, she leaves one son and three daughters - George D. and Emma B., at home; Mrs. R. J. Dunsmore, of DuBois; Mrs. William S. Bollinger, of Tyrone. Five children have preceded the mother to the grave. She also leaves one brother, S. Ross Millhouse, the famous cornetist of Sousa band fame. Funeral arrangements have been deferred pending the arrival of a telegram from Mr. Millhouse. However, the services will be held at the late home on Tenth street, in charge of her pastor, Rev. George M. Glenn, of the First Methodist Episcopal church, assisted by Rev. H. W. Bieber, of the First Presbyterian church. Mrs. Wands was a member of the former church and particularly active in the various church societies.
