WAPPES Of Columbia City RD 3, Ind., formerly of Greenwood, died at 2:25 p.m. yesterday, July 19, 1972, in West Palm Beach, Fla. He was born Sept. 20, 1901, in Laotto, Ind. Surviving are his wife, Flossie F., tow children, Charles R. of Ft. Wayne, Ind., and Mrs. Eileen Perrin of Houston, Tex.; five grandchildren, a great-grandchild and two sisters, Mrs. Grace Geiger of Laotto, Ind., and Mrs. Frona Cermak of Battle Creek, Mich. Mr. Wappes was employed as an assistant trainmaster for the PRR. He was a member of Huntertown Lodge 689, F&AM, Huntertown, Ind.; Scottish Rite, Mizpah Shrine and Elks Lodge of Columbia City, Ind.
