He was a son of Jacob and Elizabeth Warner and was born in Hollidaysburg, Feb. 19, 1892. He was employed by the Pittsburgh testing laboratory and was a member of St. Michael's Catholic church in Hollidaysburg. He was united in marriage with Edna Wertz of Frankstown, who survives with one son and one daughter, Lt. James Warner, in the Philippines, and Miss Helen Warner, at home, and these brothers and sisters: Howard Warner of Altoona, George Warner of Swissvale, and Mrs. Bell Albright of Hollidaysburg and Mrs. Esther Holmbing of Coupon. Friends will be received at the Wolf Funeral home in Hollidaysburg after noon Thursday. WARNER - Funeral services for Ellsworth Warner of Frankstown will be held Saturday morning with a requiem high Mass at 9 o'clock at St. Michael's Catholic church, Hollidaysburg. Interment in Greenlawn cemetery. Friends will be received at the Wolf funeral home in Hollidaysburg after 7 o'clock this evening. Altoona Mirror, September 19, 1945
