JAMES WATSON.

  James Watson, the aged father of Patrolman John Watson, died at the 
latter's residence, 1032 Third avenue at 1 o'clock this morning, of 
paralysis.  The deceased was aged 79 years and had been an invalid for some 
time.  The following children survive: James H., Thomas F., John S., and 
Mrs. Elmer S. Bailey, of Altoona.  The arrangements for the funeral have not 
yet been made.
