He was born in Altoona on May 5, 1892, a son of William and Clara (Johnson) Watson, and had been employed at the Westbound repair yards of the Pennsylvania railroad for a number of years. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Lottie (Forsht) Watson, three brothers, William and Maxwell of Akron, O., and Arthur of Altoona, and a number of nieces and nephews. Mr. Watson was a member of the First Methodist church, Juniata, the Full Crew Bible class, of Bellview lodge of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows, Eagles and the Frohsinn Singing society. Friends will be received at the home from noon tomorrow until noon Sunday and thereafter at the Mauk & Yates funeral home. WATSON - Funeral services for Joseph Edward Watson of 906 Fourth avenue, Juniata, will be held at 2.30 o'clock Sunday afternoon in the Mauk & Yates funeral home by Rev. E. A. Henry.
