FRANK WEAMER

A retired employe of the Juniata E. & M. shop and for many years a resident at 
Washington and Twentieth avenues, died at 8 o'clock this morning in the Altoona 
hospital, where he had been a patient since, Oct. 23.  He was born in Altoona, 
July 21, 1874, a son of George and Catherine (Langer) Weamer, and never married.  
For the past five years Mr. Weamer had resided with a niece, Mrs. Jessie P. 
Gates of Hillside avenue and Fifty-eighth street.  Surviving are one brother, 
Philip Weamer, at the home, and a number of nieces and nephews.  Mr. Weamer 
retired from the Altoona works service in 1939.  He was a member of the Calvary 
Baptist church.  Friends may call at the Lafferty funeral home after noon 
tomorrow.
