GEORGE D. WEAVER

Of Newry, died at 9.30 o'clock yesterday morning in the Altoona hospital after a 
brief illness.  He was born Nov. 22, 1878, in Washington, D.C., a son of Francis 
and Kate (Schneider) Weaver, and was graduated from Wyoming academy in 1900 and 
from Gettysburg college four years later.  Mr. Weaver was a member of the Newry 
Lutheran church and of the United Spanish War Veterans.  Surviving are a sister, 
Miss Marguerite of Tallahassee, Fla.; a niece and two nephews.  Friends will be 
received at the Liebegott funeral home, Duncansville, at 2 o'clock tomorrow 
afternoon.
