Mr. James Weaver died at 6.30 o'clock p.m. December 8, 1890, at the residence of his son-in-law, S. S. Fluke, 1611 Seventh avenue, aged 81 years, 8 months and 14 days. He was formerly a resident of the vicinity of Williamsburg, this county, where he had resided for over fifty years. About one year ago he and his wife came to this city to spend the remnant of their days, but on the 10th of December, 1889, his wife died and now he has gone to join her on the other shore. He had been a devoted member of the Methodist Episcopal church for many years. He is survived by three brothers and six sisters. His children surviving him are : F. E. Weaver, of Mapleton, Pa.; Mrs. S. S. Fluke, of this city; Ross M. Weaver and Mrs. W. B. Blake, of Hopewell, Pa.; Mrs. Joseph Siars, of Bradenville, Pa.; Mrs. J. F. N. Householder, of McConnellstown, Pa., and U. M. Weaver, proprietor of the Eighth Ward drug store, this city. The funeral will take place from the residence of S. S. Fluke, 1611 Seventh avenue, at 10 o'clock on Thursday morning. Interment in Fairview cemetery. Morning Tribune, Altoona, Pa., Tuesday, December 9, 1890
