JOSEPH WEAVER,

  Died at his home, one-half mile north of Bald Eagle, at 4:30 on 
Tuesday morning, of cancer of the face.  He was born on December 7, 
1824, in Sinking Valley.  In October, 1847, he was married to Nancy 
Lewis, who proceeded him to the grave on February 20, 1898.  To this 
union were born four children, all of whom have passed away except Mrs. 
Jeremiah Woomer, of Olivia.  He leaves five grandchildren and five 
great-grandchildren.  He had resided in this section over seventy years 
and was known far and wide.
