FLORA WEBB, An aged resident of this city and widow of Elmer* Webb, died at 10.20 o'clock Thursday night at the Mercy hospital. Death was due to diseases incident to old age. She was past 80 years of age and was taken to the institution for treatment July 17. Mrs. Webb was born in England and came to America when she was a girl of 18 years. She had been a resident of this city for about 25 years and for a number of years she conducted a millinery store on the site now occupied by the Federal building at Chestnut avenue and Eleventh street. Surviving are one son, Elmer Ellsworth Webb, of Asbury Park, N.J., and eight grandchildren. One of the latter, C. T. Webb, resides at 2209 Eighth avenue. She was a member of St. Luke's Episcopal church. No. 425 Banns of Marriage between Charles Webb Bachelor & Flora Lawrence spinster, both of this parish, were published on the Three Sundays underwritten: That is to say, On Sunday the 18th May 1862, On Sunday the 25th May 1862, On Sunday the 1st June 1862 1862 Marriage solemnized after Banns in the parish of Bottisham in the Co., of Cambridge. No. 242, married June 2, Charles Webb & Flora Lawrence, groom of full age, bride a minor, bachelor & spinster, both residing at Bottisham, Charles' father William Webb, wheelwright, Flora's father John Lawrence, gardener. Married in the parish church according to the Rites and Ceremonies of the Church of England by me, Philip Booth.
