Deceased was born in Frederichsthal, Germany, February 7, 1855, and came to America in 1881. In 1883 he was married to Miss Anna Louise Weber. He is survived by his wife and three children, August, Sophie and Earnest. He is also survived by one sister and one brother in Germany, and by two sisters in this city, Miss Louise and Mrs. Carolina Effinger. The funeral will take place tomorrow afternoon at 3 o'clock, from his late residence. Services will be conducted by Rev. Mr. Boezele, of St. James' Lutheran church, of which church deceased was a member; interment will be made in Oak Ridge cemetery. Altoona Mirror, Tuesday, September 5, 1899, page 8
