A brother, Jacob, a former city councilman died on July 27 of this year. Mr. and Mrs. Weber celebrated their golden wedding anniversary Dec. 20, 1955. He was born in Altoona Sept. 18, 1882, a son of Jacob and Melonia (Schurk) Weber, and married Miss Cora M. Wissinger. Surviving are his wife, one daughter, Miss Julia, a teacher in the Curtin school, at home, and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Weber was a member of the First Brethren church, of the church board of trustees and Brotherhood, and the B. of L.E. He retired Sept. 1, 1947, as an Altoona yard engineer after 47 years of service. Friends will be received at the Replogle funeral home after 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon.
