Weierick, Tyrone RD 5, Grazierville, died Sunday at 5:30 a.m. at Tyrone Hospital. He had been in failing health for two years. He was born July 29, 1905, in Tyrone, a son of Albert G. and Minnie B. (Thompson) Weierick. He was married October 1, 1923, in Cumberland, Maryland, to the former Phoebe E. Dean, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. William (Betty) Long, Salt Lake City, Utah; two grandsons, Dave and Rick, a brother, Clarence Weierick, Altoona; and a sister, Mrs. Clay (Eva) Treaster, Grazierville. He was preceded in death by three sisters and a brother. He was of the Protestant faith. He retired December 30, 1964, as a machinist for the Pennsylvania Railroad after 39 years of service. Funeral will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Feller Memorial Home, Tyrone. The Reverend Jay Zimmerman will officiate. Interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery. Friends will be received at the Feller Memorial Home, Tyrone, today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tyrone Daily Herald, Tyrone, Pa., January 8, 1980
